PERPETUAL SAFETY

A Recent announcement tells of a large contribution of money which has been given to an organization devoted to promoting safety. This fund is to be used to aid churches in impressing their members with the importance of practicing safety "as a moral obligation and as practical religion."

Christian Science teaches that since God is Spirit and creation spiritual, man and the universe are perpetually safe in God's watchful care. God governs all of His ideas through His eternal laws of undeviating harmony, and these ideas manifest the unerring action of divine Mind. God maintains them all in perfect relationship to Himself and to each other.

As stars fixed in their courses move harmoniously, so the ideas of God, Spirit, move harmoniously in His orbits. But God's orbits are spiritual, as are the movements of His ideas. The motion and action of God's creation are, in fact, the manifestations and reflections of the qualities of Truth, Life, and Love.
