I am most grateful for the help I have had from reading testimonies in The Christian Science Journal and in the Sentinel. Perhaps my own experiences may help someone. For many years I was an active medical nurse. All this time, however, I knew there was something missing from our work of caring for the sick.

One day I was called to do some part-time nursing for someone who shared a home in which there were two children. When I asked why there was such an atmosphere of peace and contentment, I was told that the family were students of Christian Science. I had not heard of this Science before, and when I asked for information about it, I was offered a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. When I read it I knew at once that it revealed the true way of healing. I began to study Christian Science, and from that time I have found joy and happiness all along the way.

Many physical healings have come to me. In 1951 I had a stroke. Help from a practitioner was lovingly given, and in less than five weeks I was well and able to care for myself in every way. I enjoy helping in church work, and I am daily getting a clearer understanding of the love of our Father-Mother God and a better sense of my duty to my fellow man. I am sincerely grateful for good health.
