I am indeed grateful to God for our consecrated Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, who through her God-inspired writings has made it possible for us to understand the sayings and healings of Christ Jesus so that we may also demonstrate the healing power of Truth.

Christian Science is the law of Life. Its efficacy has been proved in the healing of such a variety of ailments that there can be no doubt of its universal healing power. God's storehouse is overflowing with blessings for His children, and the combination which unlocks this storehouse consists of such basic qualities as truthfulness, purity, happiness, obedience, and so on. I should like to tell about one of these blessings which came to me as an instantaneous healing.

Prior to my finding Christian Science, one of my problems was a chronic sore throat. Frequently this developed into a case of the grippe and forced me to bed. When a practitioner gave me my first treatment in Christian Science, this trouble soon disappeared, and I was free from any indication of it for seven or eight years. Then one day I was shocked to find that all the old symptoms had returned.
