Christian Science came into my life almost forty years ago. One morning while I was still quite new in the study of Science, I awakened with a sore throat which later developed into quinsy and prevented my taking nourishment for several days. I was suffering so much that I decided to call a Christian Science practitioner. She worked for me for two or three days, and through her loving words of encouragement and firm realization of God's allness, the quinsy was healed. This has been a complete healing, for I have never had a return of this condition, although previously it had recurred almost every year from the time I was a small child.

A few months later I was healed of severe sick headaches which had bothered me for a number of years. Every five or six weeks I would have to be in bed for three or four days. Finally a practitioner was asked to come and see me. She came and talked to me, but I was in such pain that it was hard for me to listen; so she silently prayed for me for about half an hour. Then I became quiet, and in a short time I dropped off to sleep. When I awakened after three or four hours, I realized I was healed. From that day to this I have never experienced any kind of headache.

My husband was beautifully healed of asthma through the help of a practitioner. This healing took place more than five years ago, and he has since been enjoying freedom in every way. Through the years our family has had many healings, including those of scarlet fever, measles, mumps, colds, and other conditions, the names of which I did not know. We have experienced great protection from accidents and have raised two sons to manhood through complete reliance on Christian Science.
