of the most loved of all Biblical passages is the Psalm which starts with the assuring statement.
Man
does not originate spiritual understanding; it is the function of Spirit, God, to impart it to him, and since every function of Spirit is ever operative, the real, spiritual man is forever God-endowed with spiritual understanding.
The
decency of many of our young people in schools and colleges is worth imitating.

the New Testament we read of a woman who had suffered for twelve years from a serious physical ailment.
SPURRED
on by clear proofs that prayer is more than words aimed to give a momentary feeling of exaltation, Christian Scientists are working assiduously to awaken humanity to the fact that prayer is effective in healing the sick, in saving the sinner, and in establishing a happier way of life.
As thought turns once again toward the Annual Meeting of The Mother Church to be held on June 3 this year, the Christian Scientist naturally thinks with gladness of the proofs of progress in Christian Science in his own church.
Officers of branch churches and individuals who have occasion to with The Christian Science Board of Directors, with the Clerk and the Treasurer of The Mother Church, and with the heads of departments of The Mother Church Offices are requested always to place their addresses on their letters and to write their signatures plainly.

On page 583 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, defines "Church" as follows:
I feel overwhelmed with gratitude for the many outstanding healings I have experienced through the study and application of Christian Science over a period of several years.
