It is with the deepest gratitude for Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, and with heartfelt thanks to the consecrated practitioners, who are always willing to help us in our time of trial, that I submit this testimony.

I was introduced to Christian Science while in high school, and I started attending a Christian Science Sunday School. The effect of what I learned there was soon evident in my schoolwork. For the first time in my experience, my grades improved sufficiently to put me on the honor roll, although they had been barely average; and these good grades continued until I graduated from high school.

After graduation I enlisted in the Navy, and during my term of service I was wonderfully protected. While overseas another Christian Scientist and I were quickly healed of fungus growths in our ears. This happened after we had studied "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy one afternoon and recognized that man is God's perfect expression, reflecting health and freedom.
