In my younger days I lost overnight...
In my younger days I lost overnight my entire family. It was a great shock, and thereafter I could not believe in anything. For more than twenty years I was without a religion and refused to think about God. Then one day I was led to attend a Christian Science church.
All the questions which had been in my thinking and had made me a very unhappy person were answered by Christian Science. The realization that God is All-in-all and ever-present Love gave me a different outlook and brought to me a great trust in God.
It is now more than seventeen years since I became an earnest student. In that time I have had many wonderful healings. I was healed of heart trouble, which doctors had proclaimed incurable, also of arthritis. These healings, which took place in China, came through absent treatment by a practitioner in Australia whom I had never seen, and they have been permanent. The desire to smoke dropped away after I had been in bondage to it for twenty-two years. I have also been healed of a nervous breakdown, appendicitis, and various minor ailments.
