I shall always be grateful to the friend who presented me with the opportunity of attending a Christian Science Sunday School. Although I knew nothing of the healing power of Science at that time, after a few months of faithfully attending the Sunday School, I discovered I was completely healed of an annoying skin disorder on my legs. Prior to this time, various remedies had been used to no avail.

I am also grateful for The Christian Science Monitor Youth Forum, for it was through membership and active participation in that organization that I met my husband. Together we have established a happy home and a harmonious family relationship, and we have witnessed numerous healings, including those of fevers, colds, coughs, bruises, and burns. Most of these healings have been accomplished through our own understanding of God's omnipotence and omnipresence.

A healing of canker sores was outstanding to me, because for several years I had suffered from them. One day as I was studying the current Lesson-Sermon in the Christian Science Quarterly, our youngest son accidentally struck my face, and I bit my cheek. The first thought was, "Another canker sore."
