Several years have elapsed since my last published testimony. I wish to express again my gratitude for the joy and comfort I have received through the ministrations of Christian Science, for I know from experience that this Science does heal when lovingly and understandingly applied.

With my first reading of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," that wonderful legacy given to mankind by Mary Baker Eddy, I had two distinct healings. Before I had finished the first chapter, entitled "Prayer," I was healed of a deep prejudice against Mrs. Eddy herself. I rejoice to say that every year since that time, nearly forty years ago, I am more grateful for and appreciative of her words and works. The second healing was that of the need for glasses. These I had worn since childhood for a condition called double astigmatism.

Through the years, I have received many physical healings, among them that of sick headaches. A growth on my finger increased rapidly in size until it was unsightly and painful. I asked a Christian Science practitioner for help. When I next looked at my finger, the growth was shriveled, and in a few days it dropped off. Grief and tears at the passing of loved ones have been wiped away. By my knowing Life as God and God as All, these experiences have lost their sting.
