Christ Jesus spoke a language through demonstration that all could understand. He taught the way to overcome every phase of evil. In his healing work he proved that the law of God is ever present to make free. Christian Science today is revealing and demonstrating anew this same truth that Jesus taught and demonstrated.

Many proofs of God's guidance, healing, and protecting care have been mine through learning more of God's power and of man's true being. I should like to relate a healing that took place in my experience some time ago. In an accident I severely wrenched my wrist. I felt that a bone had been broken or dislocated, and I experienced severe pain.

Instantly I realized that my work was to reject the material evidence and to claim my true being as ever upright, whole, and expressing perfect freedom of action. I asked a Christian Science practitioner for help, and the pain that had been so intense ceased within the hour. Mrs. Eddy's words from Science and Health filled my consciousness (p. 283), "Mind is the source of all movement, and there is no inertia to retard or check its perpetual and harmonious action."
