WHEN WE KNOW THAT GOD IS LOVE
When
we know that God is Love
And worship Him alone,
We find that Love melts prison walls
More adamant than stone.
For Love enthroned in consciousness
Dissolves sin and its pain
And hallows with humility
The chill halls of disdain.
Love keeps us in God's citadel
Secure from fear and wrong,
Delights us with tranquillity
And fills our hearts with song.
