When I was ten years old and in...
When I was ten years old and in the fourth grade, I had an accident one day while my class at school was in the gymnasium. One arm was broken, and my back was badly hurt. I began to say the Lord's Prayer, and I knew that God was with me and that everything would be all right.
The children called the teacher. She took me to a chair and then got the school nurse. The nurse took me to her room and told me to lie down. While lying down I thought of God and of man, who is God's image and likeness and therefore cannot be hurt.
The nurse called my daddy, and he came and picked me up in the car. When we got home, Daddy called the practitioner and asked him to do some prayerful work for me. After a while my back stopped hurting. Then I thought about my arm. I knew that in the Bible it says (Gen. 1:31), "God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good." So I asked myself, "If God made everything, and it was good, how could there be a broken arm?"
