Activities for the Armed Services
Hawaii
In Hawaii, Christian Science Activities for the Armed Services has seven Ministers and two Representatives who are faithfully and effectively carrying on Armed Services Activities. From the military standpoint, Hawaii has great importance, not only because of the armed forces installations there but because of the ships which, going to and returning from the Orient, often make it a stopping point. In order to serve the Christian Science in these installations and on government ships, our field workers carry on a large literature distribution activity, hold Christian Science services, and do good healing work. Their reports are always inspiring.
