I have gained so much help and comfort from the testimonies in our Christian Science periodicals that I desire to add my contribution and to express my gratitude for the good that has come to me from our religion. The list of my blessings is a long one, and it is difficult to choose only one or two to submit.

A few years ago, as I was no the way to the store where I worked, a severe pain in the lower part of the abdomen began to manifest itself. By the time I reached the store I had almost lost consciousness. I asked a relative who was there to call a Christian Science practitioner, and I went into the back room. The practitioner came to the store and started working prayerfully for me. Soon I was able to move, and I went home and to bed. This was around ten o'clock. At noon I called the practitioner, told her I was well, and went on my way to a luncheon meeting. There was no recurrence of the pain.

Another cause for gratitude occurred when my husband was helping to build on our ranch a large dam to store water for irrigation. It was to be fifty-five feet high and two hundred and sixty feet long. Many limitations were overcome through prayer in Christian Science. The road leading up to the dam was steep and narrow, and as the men were working a double shift to complete the work on time, I used to take my husband's supper to him. Workmen were frequently coming and going, but never once did I meet another car on this narrow road. For this evidence that the one divine Mind governs all, I thank God.
