Words can never fully express my deep gratitude for Christian Science. This wonderful Science was presented to me at a time when I had to make a big change in my life. After a night of prayer, in which I asked to be shown the right way to go, Christian Science was presented to me, and the study of it enabled me to choose wisely.

Many wonderful healings have been experienced in our family. Following a difficult confinement at childbirth, I was told that I must submit to major surgery. This was made unnecessary, for a complete healing was brought about in Christian Science.

One day when my son was about two and a half years old, he pulled an electric power plug from the wall and received a shock from the exposed wires. When I found the child, his life appeared to have left him. I took him in my arms and declared the truth by repeating parts of the ninety-first Psalm, the Lord's Prayer, and "the scientific statement of being" from page 468 of Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy. Before long my fear subsided, and a wonderful calm filled my consciousness. I felt the child stir in my arms and then struggle to be free. I let him go, and he went about his play unharmed by the experience. The electrician who came to repair the damage said he could not understand how the child had escaped electrocution.
