"One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts....They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy righteousness" (Ps. 145: 4-7). I know that in expressing gratitude to God for Christian Science and for what this blessed truth is doing for all mankind, I am gaining a better understanding of His "great goodness." I am thankful that Christ Jesus fully demonstrated God's healing power and that our faithful Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, has revealed the Science by which he did so.

We have had many wonderful healings. One day when only our baby daughter, our nine-year-old son, and I were home, I suddenly became dizzy and manifested a high fever. I tried to overcome this condition by seeing its unreality, but could not think coherently. A Christian Science practitioner was called, and she lovingly consented to work for me. I repeated over and over again, "God is Love; God is Life; God loves me."

I asked our son to read a psalm to me. He turned to the forty-sixth Psalm and began to read, but I could hardly hear him. When he read (verse 6), "He uttered his voice, the earth melted," I kept repeating the words to myself. I do not remember anything that happened during the next few hours. The practitioner continued to work for me, and when I awakened the next morning, I was completely free. We are all very grateful for this healing.
