INDITING

Psalm 45:1

"My heart is inditing a good matter."
O Lord, my King, I now proclaim and praise
Thy name, and speak of Thy wonders to men.
Thou hast made me free, given me sound health,
And wealth of spirit, joy, and perfect peace
In days of war when times seemed dark and drear;
And most of all, a love of God and man.

Should not my heart be swifter then than scribe's
Nimble, ready pen to indite this theme
To all, both high and low, throughout the land?
