DEMONSTRATION

The star shone on,
Undimmed by error's long chaotic night:
The lashing storms of mortal mind could not
Obscure the light.

When thought was turned
From all belief of matter, from sense to Soul,
False fears were met; the Adam-dream gave place
To Mind's control.

The star shines on—
Its radiancy true joy will e'er impart;
Its warmth and tenderness bring peace and joy
To every heart.
