Deep and sincere gratitude for the blessings that Christian Science has brought into my experience prompts me to give this testimony. I hope that it may encourage others who are seeking their healing through an understanding of this precious Science.

As a child I never knew good health. While I was in my early teens a serious operation was performed and was followed later by others, but poor health continued. Finally a point was reached where the medical profession gave my family to understand that nothing more could be done for me, and it was said that I could not live more than about three years. My thought was. "The sooner it is over the better, since I am doomed to a life of suffering."

I had attended an orthodox Sunday School and later a church, but I completely lost interest in religion. When Christian Science was presented to me by one of my family who had been greatly benefited by it, I was not reach to listen, nor could I see how religion could have any effect on my health.
