Over a period of thirty-eight years, during which I have been studying Christian Science and depending upon it for healing, this religion has always met my need.

From childhood I had stomach trouble. After I married, this trouble became very serious, and the doctor said I had a fallen stomach. My husband recommended that I try Christian Science, and I was very glad to do so. I started to read some Christian Science literature and had the help of a practitioner. Right away I felt better.

At this time I was visiting a sister who had a couple staying with her. Often I would go out into a field and sit under a tree to read Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy and other Christian Science literature, since I felt that I could get closer to God when I was alone.
