I find it hard to put into words...

I find it hard to put into words my deep gratitude for the understanding I now have of Christian Science. Although I had known of this wonderful religion all my life, for many years after I left home I was apathetic toward it and did not study as I should have done. Now my greatest desire is for a deeper understanding of its truths.

Mrs. Eddy writes (Science and Health, p. 13), "Love is impartial and universal in its adaptation and bestowals." My conception of this one statement is indicative of my changed thought. Whereas I once saw this truth only as a promise of everything needful for myself, I can now rejoice that all I claim for myself as the child of God is available to all God's children.

I was aroused from my careless attitude toward the study of the Bible and our textbook, Science and Health, when I was faced with an infection that was serious. When I came to the realization that it was never real and no part of my true being, it was overcome, but a great amount of time and study was required before I gained this understanding.
