I should like to express my gratitude to God for Christian Science and for the healing of my wife. After undergoing an operation for an internal difficulty about three years ago, my wife experienced a faulty condition of the kidneys. The surgeon who had operated on her took her to a specialist, who said that she would have to undergo another operation and that one kidney would probably have to be removed. My wife and I prayed and decided to turn to Christian Science for healing.

I went to a Reading Room where I was given a copy of The Christian Science Journal and shown how to select a practitioner. Also I purchased a copy of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. We began to study the Bible and this textbook immediately and to have Christian Science treatment from a practitioner. As soon as my wife was able to leave the house, we began to attend a branch Church of Christ, Scientist, on Wednesday evenings and Sundays. During this time a lump which my wife had on her neck disappeared, and a painful condition in her feet was healed.

We were particularly grateful for the Wednesday evening meetings.
