ETERNAL NEWNESS
What a sense of freedom comes to us when we learn that God is infinite, perfect Life and that our true selfhood is the reflection of unchanging perfection. Because the real universe reflects God's perfection, there is nothing that can ever grow old. Spirit and things spiritual are always new, for in their eternal perfection there can be no deterioration. The dew and freshness of the morning, the joyous singing of birds, the glorious color and fragrance of fruit tree blossoms and flowers, give one a hint of the freshness of the eternal beauty of the spiritual universe.
The understanding even in a degree of the unchanging perfection and eternal newness of life lifts us above mortal beliefs of time, change, and limitation, and we feel the freedom and joyousness of true being. This understanding brings to us a glorious sense of vitality, strength, and vigor.
The realization of the eternal perfection of being is the Christ-power, dispelling that which goes to make up the mortal with his false beliefs and thereby causing us to know that man is immortal, ever aware of eternal perfection and ever manifesting the eternal newness of being.
