RIGHT RELATIONSHIP
Is anyone the victim of circumstance? Can one foresee and forestall an unhappy event which to human sense seems inevitable? Christian Science points the way to overcome inharmony, and when this way is found and followed, the fears which seem to occupy consciousness are dispelled, and harmony appears.
Many Bible characters passed through vicissitudes of fortune, but by turning to God and through the exercise of spiritual understanding, they found the path to peace and liberty. Often the problem presented was one of human relationships. such as are described in the history of Cain and Abel, of Abraham and Lot, of Jacob and Esau. At another time it included an economic problem like that of Joseph's in Egypt. And yet again, it might be the correction of idolatry.
