NO ELEMENT OF ERROR

God is the great creator, the Father-Mother Mind, the one and only cause of the universe, including man. The Bible tells us that God is Spirit, Love, and that He is perfect and eternal. In Genesis we read (1:26, 27): "God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness.... So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them." Man, the image of infinite Spirit, is the likeness of perpetual, immortal, unchanging Life! This man, this idea of Mind, must be spiritual, not partaking of any characteristic of matter or corporeality. He could not be subject to degeneration, age, death, or decay. The "male and female" of God's creation are complete, whole, individual, lacking nothing necessary to express joy, health, and life abundant.

God's man does not contain, know, or bear witness to any element of sin, sickness, limitation, accident, or death. No false belief can take from man the vitality and ability to reflect every lovely, perfect quality of God. No aggressive suggestions, pressures, or oppressive fears can add, by accretion or a false sense of growth or creation, one single atom to the forever complete child of God.

One may ask, "How do we find this man?" We find him as we put off the old man, the false mortal sense of man, and demonstrate the true idea of man as the uncontaminated and unfettered reflection of Love. Jesus urged this demonstration when he admonished (Matt. 5:48), "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect."
