I have found the way

I have found the way. Words are inadequate to express my gratitude for Christian Science. Over a period of fifteen years I was confined to my bed for several months each year with colitis and placed on a strict diet. I did not know whether I would live or not. Finally I was asked if I would like to study the Bible and "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. I began studying, but my suffering continued. Friends advised me to have X rays. I did so, and the doctor recommended a serious operation.

"Man's extremity is God's opportunity." I went back to my room much disturbed but confident that God, as understood through Mrs. Eddy's revelation of Truth, would bring my healing. I bowed my head and humbly prayed that God would save me. Then I called a practitioner, who expressed much love and understanding. She advised me to give up every material means of healing, and I agreed to do so.

That night I received the most wonderful sense of spiritual peace. It brought tears of joy and gratitude, and the difficulty from which I had been suffering entirely disappeared. My constant prayer since then has been to let my light so shine that I may glorify my Father-Mother God. When my daughter received word of my healing, she also began to study Christian Science, and she received a wonderful healing of anemia, for which she had been advised to have a blood transfusion.
