I wish to express my unbounded...

I wish to express my unbounded gratitude for the many blessings I have received through my study of Christian Science. When my husband passed on in 1937, my son and I were left penniless. Even our home and most of our personal belongings were lost. Realizing that Spirit is the one infinite source of all supply, I placed my absolute reliance on God and looked to Him alone for direction to meet my needs.

Mrs. Eddy, our beloved Leader, says in Science and Health (p. 7): "The 'divine ear' is not an auditory nerve. It is the all-hearing and all-knowing Mind, to whom each need of man is always known and by whom it will be supplied."

The certainty of God's ever-presence brought the realization that man's real home is a state of spiritual consciousness. Before long I was able to establish a home in a little five-room cottage, where I opened a studio and gave voice, piano, and dramatic art lessons. Gradually I drew together a large class of students, and today I am able to make a good living. My son has grown to manhood and is a successful television technician.
