FATHER-MOTHER GOD

Fledglings nestle close
Beneath the downy breast
For sheltering warmth.
Not less enfolding is God's care
But much, much more.
Infinite tenderness of Love—
Our Mother.

The fiercest storms may break
Above, around the crag,
To no avail.
Not less impervious God's power
And mightier far.
Enduring strength of Principle—
Our Father.
