Christian Science means everything...

Christian Science means everything to me. Nearly forty years ago it found me in a hopeless condition. After I had been under doctors' care for over twelve years and had had four operations for different conditions, the doctors gave me no hope and said they could do no more for me. I had ulcers of the stomach and intestines, they said. In addition I was a nervous wreck.

Upon reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, I was able to sleep without drugs, something I had not done for months. After three treatments from a Christian Science practitioner I was healed of the ulcers and began to eat everything I wanted. Soon I gained twenty pounds in weight.

I am very grateful for my complete physical healing, but I am more grateful for mental freedom from fear and worry and for the joy of church activities. For a long time I had not been able to do even my housework; so my home has become much more harmonious and happy. Also financial conditions improved rapidly, and I am grateful to say I was able to have class instruction in 1924. I have never missed an annual association meeting since then.
