Having received many blessings from Christian Science over the last thirty years, I feel it is my duty to acknowledge that fact for the benefit of others.

In spite of years of medical treatment, I had suffered from dyspepsia, which developed into acute gastritis, together with other ills associated with this complaint. This condition was followed later by very distressing attacks of heart trouble. As the outlook appeared hopeless, I was ready to try any remedy. Christian Science was introduced to me by one who I knew had suffered for years from a difficulty similar to my own, and in addition, from a distressing ear trouble, but who was now in radiant health. I was informed that this healing had been quickly brought about by Christian Science treatment.

I did not realize it at the time, but this introduction to Science proved to be a direct answer to my prayer, a deep longing for a logical, reasonable, practical sense of life and an understanding of how to live it. From childhood I had held a deep conviction that what are called miracles were just as possible today if only Jesus' teachings were properly understood.
