Christian Science when properly...

Christian Science when properly and sincerely applied has never failed to meet my need. On two occasions during a housing shortage a home was found—one time with the help of a Christian Science practitioner and the other time through my own work. During this latter experience I frequently studied pages 1 to 4 of "Pulpit and Press" by Mary Baker Eddy, particularly the statement on page 4 which reads, "You have simply to preserve a scientific, positive sense of unity with your divine source, and daily demonstrate this."

When a watch was stolen from my dressing table, my thought turned immediately to God and to His perfect man. I realized that God's image and likeness cannot be dispossessed of anything that rightfully belongs to him. This truth made me further realize that when consciousness is constantly filled with thoughts of the allness and goodness of God there is no room for a sense of loss to enter. The watch was located and returned to me by the police.

At a Christian Science lecture I was healed of a sick headache. I went expecting to be healed and so was receptive to the truths of God and of man as God's reflection. All inharmony vanished in the light of the truth which was expressed in the lecture.
