It is with sincere gratitude that this testimony is given. One morning when I attempted to arise I found myself too dizzy to stand. Although I declared the truth for myself as we are taught to do in Christian Science and made several more attempts to get up, I had to remain in bed. The dizziness continued throughout the day, and I was not able to reach the telephone to ask for help.

When I looked at the clock at five thirty in the afternoon, I recalled that at five forty-five a Christian Science program would be broadcast over the radio. I declared that I would get into the living room to hear the program, even if I had to crawl. I managed to get to the room and to tune in the right station. After I had listened to the hymns and Bible selections it was announced that an article would be read on the healing of loneliness. I cried out, "Oh, if he would only read something that would help me," for I felt that I was not lonesome. Nevertheless I listened very attentively, and after the program I dropped asleep. A few minutes later I was awakened by a noise from my grandson in the kitchen. I immediately went into the kitchen to help him with some work he was doing. At this time I realized that I had been instantaneously healed of the sickness, and I felt very much refreshed.

While we were having our evening meal the telephone rang. The call on it was an unexpected one, for I had not seen the one calling but a few times in many years. We renewed our friendship and later were married. Now we are enjoying a life of happiness and loving companionship.
