Activities for the Armed Services

An Air Force officer wrote substantially as follows to Christian Science Activities for the Armed Services:

"Although I was treated medically for three months, I received no relief from a condition of indigestion and upset stomach. Finally I decided to rely on Christian Science, which was not new to me because I had formerly studied it. After making this decision, I called a Christian Science Minister. In the first telephone conversation the Minister said, 'All that is here is God and His love.' Immediately I felt reassured and experienced relief from my suffering. The following day I was able to carry out a busy schedule of work without discomfort. I quickly realized that the cause of my continual indigestion was a combination of fears and worries, centering mostly around the seeming pressure and responsibility of my duties.
