It is with deep gratitude and joy that I share this testimony. The healing truth of Christian Science was presented to me when I was fourteen, at which time I enrolled in a Christian Science Sunday School. Later I joined The Mother Church and a branch church. Through the years that have followed I have been healed of colds, headaches, a nervous breakdown, anemia, pneumonia, and other diseases. Sorrow and lack have also been overcome.

A few years ago it was my joyous privilege to serve as Second Reader in a branch church. During this time I experienced a complete healing of a skin infection. This condition was accompanied by swelling and very painful sores. Soon the infection spread to other parts of the body, and the pain grew worse. Realizing the need of help, I called a Christian Science practitioner.

It was necessary for me to be in my appointed place at church the following Sunday. I knew that this was God's work; therefore I had no sense of fear or doubt in my thought and went forth with confidence and assurance. The definition of "Church" in the Glossary of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy was read and studied. This definition reads in part (p. 583), "The structure of Truth and Love." As I pondered this I realized that, as God's reflection, I could never for an instant be separated from Church, "the structure of Truth and Love." The realization came that Mind alone was expressing itself, revealing itself through Church, and that the perfection of God and man was established and maintained by divine law.
