THE WEAVING
Each
one I love is like a warp thread in my weaving,
evenly spaced, equally strong,
stretching from forever to forever,
each thread golden.
Swift and swift the shuttle flies,
laying thought on thought, joy on joy,
weaving the fabric of my being.
And the sound the loom is singing says:
Life is Love and Love is Life—
and God does the weaving.
