I should like to give a testimony in regard to a healing I received through Christian Science. A large growth appeared on one side of my face. It was very painful, and I suffered from headaches which accompanied it. I was in bed most of the time for some months.

I was living with a relative who was not then interested in Christian Science, and because of his continual insistence, a physician was consulted to diagnose the condition. He insisted that an immediate operation was necessary. This I definitely refused, and I had no further medical opinion or help. I then went to a practitioner.

One night I woke with a violent headache. There was no telephone where I lived; so I could not call the practitioner for help. I took "Miscellaneous Writings" by Mary Baker Eddy and opened it to the section entitled "Bible Lessons," beginning on page 180. After I had read for about an hour I found that the headache was gone. Later the growth entirely disappeared, leaving no evidence on my face. I am most grateful for this healing.
