OUR PERPETUAL, INEXHAUSTIBLE INCOME
Because man is the outcome of God, he has a perpetual, inexhaustible income of thoughts and ideas emanating from his source. The things of Spirit, the substance of deific Principle, are his through reflection, and they never fluctuate, diminish, or wane. Mary Baker Eddy proved this in her own experience, and explains it clearly in the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." For instance, on page 250 she writes, "Man is not God, but like a ray of light which comes from the sun, man, the outcome of God, reflects God."
The scientific sense of man's income as emanating from God must be spiritually discerned. The understanding of this basic truth regarding income will manifest itself outwardly in better living conditions and more abundant supply. The fact that man is perpetually employed by divine Mind to manifest the abundance of all good can be fully realized here and now. As the divine agency of good he is constantly receiving full compensation.
Each one must scientifically claim for himself that as the individualized expression of divine Principle he can never be separated for an instant from its infinite and eternal wisdom, stability, substance, and security. No fear or panic can ever assail one who understands that he is in the presence of all-inclusive, all-embracing omnipotence. God's presence is his guarantee of perfect safety.
