"Whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, ... shall be blessed in his deed" (James 1:25).

"I do as I please." is the motto of one who has missed the true meaning of liberty. Such a person is not really free, but is in bondage to the big "I," for he has ignored the fact that liberty is an unmerited gift, bestowed by God and human society, and involves responsibility to both.... As the [Bible] has been saying for almost two thousand years (Gal. 5:13), "Use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh." ...
