A GHOST LEAVES NO TRACKS

"To accomplish a good result, it is certainly not irrational to tell the truth about ghosts." This fact is stated on page 352 of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by the author of this unique volume, Mary Baker Eddy.

Enlightened and well-educated people do not believe in ghosts as being something real or as something powerful, capable of producing fear, terror, or harm. Dictionary definitions of the word ghost include apparition, phantom, and specter. A definition of "phantom" is, "Something unreal, or having only an apparent existence, hallucination."

For more than three quarters of a century the teachings of Christian Science have been available to seekers for truth. And one of the great truths presented by Christian Science is that the material beliefs which comprise so much of mortal existence are comparable to ghosts. Instead of being real, enduring, or powerful, all false beliefs are without actual intelligence; they possess neither creative nor destructive ability.
