I came into Christian Science in...
I came into Christian Science in the fall of 1937. For eighteen years I had suffered from ulcers of the stomach. In addition, doctors said that my stomach was prolapsed and that they could not help me.
A Christian Science practitioner worked for me for a while, and in about eight weeks I had my healing. It came the day before Christmas. I had just finished studying the weekly Lesson-Sermon in the Christian Science Quarterly and was listening to Christmas carols on the radio.
Suddenly I felt a movement internally, and then this message came as clearly as if the words had been spoken to me: "You have had a healing." I got down on my knees and thanked God. I am so grateful for Christian Science.— (Mrs.) Frances A. Illig, East Aurora, New York.
