With a grateful heart I wish to tell of the blessings I have received through Christian Science. About forty years ago my four-year-old son was seriously ill with what the doctors diagnosed as appendicitis and peritonitis. Two doctors had given him up, saying it was too late for help.

At that point an acquaintance called our attention to Christian Science. We asked a practitioner to come to see us, and she took up prayerful work. While she was still with us, the child's internal organs began to function normally again. Previous to this he had been receiving nourishment artificially. He was healed and has never felt any effects from this illness. My gratitude to God and to the practitioner is indescribable. Later my daughter and I were healed of gallbladder trouble.

In everything I do today I am feeling the beneficent effects of our wonderful religion, for which I am grateful with all my heart. Also I am grateful for the loving help of my practitioner. I give all honor to God.—(Mrs.) Auguste Lass, Berlin-Zehlendorf, Germany.
