"Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need" (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, p. 494). This has been to me a statement of living Truth since I began the study of Christian Science about two years ago. The beautiful truth taught in this religion has brought out to me clearly that it is God "who healeth all [our] diseases" (Ps. 103:3).

I suffered from one illness after another and was beset by constant fear. I lacked faith in anything. Sleeping pills and sedatives were prescribed for me, and a psychiatrist endeavored to get to the bottom of my troubles. However, my visit with him gave me no comfort and left me with more doubts and fears than I had had before and with little hope of ever finding peace of mind.

At this time Christian Science was presented to me by my husband, who asked me if I would not just try it, as he said I had nothing to lose and everything to gain. He called a practitioner we had never known, and she said that she would see me that afternoon. After keeping the appointment I came home with a small ray of hope, clinging to the truth that fear is unreal. When I went to bed I slept peacefully for the first time in weeks.
