Through Christian Science I have had several healings which proved that God is very near when we put our trust in Him. Some years ago a doctor who examined me diagnosed a serious heart disease and advised me to discontinue all activity. A Christian Science practitioner was called, and it was explained to me that the life of man is not dependent upon the heart, but that God alone is man's Life. The healing which followed was a quick one.

In 1945 a case of painful sciatica was conquered through Christian Science. In 1947 a fracture of the pelvis was healed by Science within three weeks.

I was brought home one day about three years ago completely paralyzed. A doctor, called by a member of the family who was not a Christian Scientist, stated that because of my age there was no hope of healing and that I would not walk again. The Christian Science practitioner who was then called helped me to understand that God gives His child existence and freedom of movement. I did not lose courage, knowing that God would heal me. After some time my body returned to normal, and I resumed my activities without further difficulty.
