The testimonies in our periodicals never fail to quicken me to a deeper appreciation of Christian Science and of our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy. When I first opened the textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, forty-odd years ago, my need for both physical and mental healing was great.

My first healing came when I read this faith-inspiring statement in the textbook (Pref., p. vii): "To those leaning on the sustaining infinite, to-day is big with blessings." This healing brought such a clear conviction that the "sustaining infinite" is a God at hand that I gave up all dependence on material methods of healing.

There were subsequent experiences of prompt healings, regeneration, and gradual emergence from worldliness to a fuller comprehension of the allness of divine Love. A skin disorder, which did not yield as readily as the other conditions, caused me to dig deeper into the truth and gain greater purification of thought. Through the help of a practitioner the healing came.
