GRATITUDE

Birds brightly sing for little crumbs
That kind hands toss their way,
And gladly greet the light that comes
To turn the dark to day.

Dear Father, help me recognize
The good You give each hour,
With grateful heart to realize
Love brings all things to flower.

Time is not long enough to tell
The wonders of Your grace—
Eternity alone can swell
The anthem through all space.
