THE ALL-EMBRACING WARMTH OF LOVE

The Love which is God is warm and enduring. Love is all-encompassing and all-embracing. It is like the sun which shines for all and bathes all in light and warmth. Divine Love is unselfish. It plays no favorites, and the richness, goodness, and warmth of its love are inexhaustible.

Jesus reflected the goodness, warmth, and all-embracing power of divine Love. It is recorded in the Bible that when he ceased preaching to the five thousand, the people were hungry. He regarded them compassionately and fed them all with the loaves and fishes, in demonstration of divine Love's constant provision for its creation.

It was the Christ, the pure expression of God, which filled the consciousness of Jesus with the impartial love and warmth that blessed all. Everyone who came into his presence felt the outpouring of his affection for God and man. On the eve of his betrayal, after he had supped with his disciples, the Master washed their feet as an evidence of his love for them. When he came to Judas, who was about to betray him, Jesus did not pass him by. In fact, it was to Judas that he later passed the sop in evidence of the warmth of love which he felt for this erring sheep of his fold.
