Soon after I began the study of Christian Science, I was healed of constipation, as well as of the smoking habit. After pondering for an hour and a half the first two or three pages of the chapter entitled '"Prayer" in the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, I was healed of a chill.

Some time later my work appeared arduous and uninteresting, and I was unhappy with it. Working conditions were noisy and inharmonious. By realizing through prayer that man's real work is to reflect God, I was able to apply myself to the work with a new outlook, and I mentally declared that I was working for God, my true employer. The inharmonious situation was changed in a few weeks. Not only I, but the whole department was blessed. We were moved to more harmonious surroundings in another of the firm's factories where I was given work which was more to my liking and a position next to that of the head of the department.

I am most grateful for a healing my wife had a few years ago. For a number of years she had suffered off and on from hemorrhoids. One night she told me that she had had an internal hemorrhage for three days. I lovingly assured her that God, and not blood, is man's Life. The next morning the hemorrhage had stopped, and later she realized that the healing of the hemorrhoids had been complete.
