I write this testimony in gratitude to God for the many healings my family and I have experienced through Christian Science. My first healing was that of tonsillitis. I had been subject to attacks of this for many winters. A varicose ulcer, colds, and a physical difficulty which kept me sitting in a chair for three days and nights have been healed by a better understanding of man and his relation to God. This understanding has been gained through the help of practitioners and through my daily study of Christian Science.

When our daughter was a young child, we lived upstairs over a grocery store. As she was very slow in learning to walk, we had a walker for her. One day someone came in and left the hall door open. The next thing I knew, the baby, who was still inside the walker, was going down the stairs. She did not fall out of the walker, but her head struck on the stairs as she went down. The man that picked her up said it was a miracle that she was not seriously injured. I immediately called a practitioner for help, and the next day the child was all right except for a few discolored spots, which quickly vanished.

I thank God that our son was protected during three years of naval service in World War II. I am also thankful for the privilege of membership in The Mother Church and a branch church and for class instruction.—(Mrs.) Delia M. Wilcox, Sherman, New York.
