The secret of happy Christian living is not to drift, but to live every day conscious of the love that is holding us. The secret is life lived purposefully, with joy, with a heart that can sing because "come wind, come weather," we cannot drift beyond the Presence ever with us. And what is the key to such living—to purposeful and joyous serving? Isn't it—love? ...

Love is the way—the love of which Paul writes—the patient, gentle, kindly love that fills the heart to overflowing when we walk love's way. ... "If a man love me," Jesus said, "he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him."
