In Psalms we read (95:1, 2):...

In Psalms we read (95:1, 2): "Let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving." It is indeed a joyful noise to bear witness to Truth and to express gratitude for Christian Science.

An intense yearning to know God, which I had always had, was answered in a unique way. While I was going through our daily paper I came across a notice of a Christian Science lecture. Not desiring to spend time reading it, I hurriedly turned the page. Unaccountably, I felt let to turn back to the lecture notice and read it. It interested me, and that evening I found myself attending my first Christian Science lecture. The following day I purchased a Bible and Science and Health by Mary Baker Eddy. From that day on my only physician has been God.

Before I became interested in Christian Science, I was extremely depressed and unhappy, as well as very much fatigued and in great pain throughout the body. Having been a medical nurse, I was constantly trying different medications, but with little relief. What I most needed was a change of attitude toward others. As I accepted the truth and began to apply my meager knowledge of Christian Science, I felt the regenerating power of Love manifested in a strong body and in a happier attitude toward those around me.
